No, not wi-fi, wood routers. Does anyone know of a good jig to use for dovetails on a router table? Thanks all.

Best Regards

Thanks, Craig but it doesn't look as if it could be used on a router table. Do you have experience of using one? Thanks.

No experience with the dovetail jigs sorry Bob, only by hand during my college days.

How about this one

Using a dovetail jig on a router table is not the easiest way to cut a dovetail joint as getting a good registration of the 2 pieces of wood that will make the joint is quite difficult.

A dovetail jig that that allows both pieces wood to be accurately aligned as the dovetail is cut is a much better way of doing it. There are a lot of jigs available but they can be quite pricey. The Trend and Incra jig are good examples.

If you want to use one on a router table then the Leigh jig has a good reputation but I have not used one.

I bought this at a wood working show after watching a Demonstration, but have not used it yet. Too many other gardening jobs to do around the house before doing more wood work.

However it seemed pretty impressive at the demonstration.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I'll look into them. Chris - Which one are you talking about? Cheers.
