Perhaps its quiet because they arent the normal Morgan customer, bearded 60 year old, and go on forums like PH rather than this one.

Well the KH demo car was still on trade plates last week so maybe there is an issue registering them.

According to Dan they finally got it registered a few days ago. In understand there was an approval issue involving all though, presumably now resolved.

The dealer can only register a car if the Importer or Manufacturer has all the paperwork required for that model and has got the model set up on the DVLA system for the dealer to click on the model when they are registering it.

I cannot believe that Morgan would be late with the paperwork to get that model on the DVLA system or had not got round to setting it up on time.

Having read Bob and Reg's tales of woe with dealings DVLA wise I wouldn't be surprised at all if it is the jobsworths there causing the problem..

Should we put a prize up to lure them all out?

First proof of life with a new owner, picture of the daily rag on the bonnet, big smile on face and a number 11 up the drive wins a can of spam, is that how it works?

No one can resist a good can of spam.

As it took almost 5 months for the DVLA to re register my car in the UK( IT was previously registered there) I have little doubt that the delays are likely to have been in that court!!!!

My guess is delays due to DVLA. Mind you I have never had problems with them re tax/new car/change of ownership etc. Even getting a photo licence update was swift once I got the Post Office photo booth sorted. When taking photos myself they were all being rejected by the online system for various technical/lighting reasons.

Excellent news. Look forward to hearing about the experience.
From your signature it looks like you had an AeroMax before so it will be interesting to get your views of the changes and perception by the public as you roll around in it.

Wasn't that supposed to be a six cylinder?
It was rather a long time ago and all I can remember is the shape...

Not a giant leap of logic to suspect some carry over of Eva to emerge in a future flagship coupe.

I was told that the seat level is set by mandated signs lines.
Sounds bonkers to me.

How about a version of Brian's SP1 on the Plus6 chassis?

Aerdenhout, The Netherlands
Last Saturday the plus six was revealed in NL, and I had the pleasure of being there. I sat in it briefly. It struck me that with my 1.90m I could sit in it very well, but when looking to my side, I noticed that I peeked over the top of the side screen in stead of under, as in my Roadster. Meaning that with the roof on I could not see approaching traffic from the side unless bending forward. I think the plus six seats do not recline as far as in my current Morgan. This means I could not compensate for the height as I can in the Roadster. So the new car seems at first better for tall people, but this high position may make it unsafe. I hope it was my clumsiness with the seat’s reclining mechanism, but if not, this is a serious issue for tall morganeers
Cheers,
Bert

I remember reading somewhere Bert that MMC had an issue with seat height on the new Plus Six
The vehicle approval bods (whatever the department is that approves new vehicles) insisted on a higher cockpit seat height than on previous Mogs

Being short of leg (as well as slim of hip) I found the seat height in the Plus Six to be fine.😎

I sat in KH's +6 when we were passing the other day, fully expecting the seat height to be an issue. I was therefore surprised when it felt perfectly normal. And I'm 6'2". I really like the car though a smaller engined model would be more likely to see me change (4/4 or +4)

This is probably related to your leg/torso ratio. Short torso/long legs will fit better. We have a friend who is pushing six foot tall, but when seated, she looks maybe five feet....because she has unbelievably long legs in proportion to her body, and no, there are no pictures...……...

It was the seating position that killed it for me - I was seriously intending to buy one.

+1, I'd even almost got the rubber stamp from Mrs M, but for me it felt like sitting on a scaffold board

I regarded that as a plus wink Cushioning on my Roadster feels fine initially but ends up too soft after long journey. I think the firmer cushioning on +6 would pay dividends on such journeys.

I'd be very surprised if it was not possible to lower the seats: for me Aero style seats would be a big improvement.

Took delivery in the pouring rain last Saturday. SEATS!

I just dont understand what everyone is talking about to be honest, I am 6ft, the seats feel perfect. I had a 2 hour drive home and didnt want to stop, so I did not!

Love it. I can only compare to my old Aeromax, it just much faster and better handling.

I love the hidden music system, you plug your iphone into a 3.5mm phono jack, hidden volume under passenger glove box.

Lights at night are superb.

Brakes are very strong and feel is better than expected.

Fuel economy is a bonus, did low 40’s on a long run.

And it feels insanely fast.

I had a couple of hours in Allon Whites demo last week .They have modified the drivers seat ,I found it a great improvement over the hard as a board passenger seat..It is very fast ,great room and very good suspension. Down side was a very poor heater no matter what we did it was only warm and no foot vent , The heated seats worked wonderfully well to compensate. The sport and sport plus only works when the lever is in the manual; position?? So I never found out till after the drive. The wipers need an upgrade ,it rained .
The wife loved it and wanted one".I will drive this because its an Automatic". MMmmm not with that power my love. I could see us in the nearest hedge bottom.
It was a very nice car and a big step forward. A smaller engine , less power and 10K lower price would make a nice replacement for the Roadster.
