Any thoughts about this wheel for a traditional Morgan?

This wheel was chosen by some guys driving a Baby Doll. I think it is the same wheel Morgan also used with the 80th anniversary 4/4 in a painted version. Due to the different size the 4/4 wheel has another look but is also very nice.

Very nice Harald and quite similar to the Dunlop steel rims of the 60's.

Looks very like the 18" "Speedster" wheels that are standard for the Plus Six.

I considered a change to these wheels, since I regret having chosen for wires instead of alloys.
But the price of the swap put me off. I also like the Morgan alloys better.

These look very much like the wheels used on the Jag D-Type. The ones used on the 80th anniversary 4/4 had square(ish) holes. Personally, I'm a big fan of fifties style circular wheels with pierced circular holes and didn't much like the ones on the anniversary 4/4 or the 14 inch Morgan Alloys. These also look nicer (to me) than the speedster wheels - something to do with the size of the holes methinks.

Look very nice but I don’t know whether they suit a three eared spinner

I think just the nut would look nicer

I like them. I do agree with Stewart re the 3 eared spinner though - the understated look of the wheel would go better with the hex nut.

First new Baby Doll with this wheels but no central lock. Just to get an imagination how it would look. As you see when comparing the pics here you can order the outer rims polished or mat.

I like the squared holes as well. I think the Jag has some original Dunlop wheels or very exactly copied ones.
