Is it possible to convert from a 5 stud wheel to the knock-on alloy wheels?

Are the splines the same as used with the wire wheels?

Yes they are, and yes it is.

Your previous Plus 8 was sold on by it's next owner minus the Lightweight alloys, he tried to sell them on here. He got a secondhand set of wires and had them sprayed black as I recall. He had a lot of work carried out on the car but didn't have it for long.

Yes but the brake calliper brackets on the stub axles are different...

Not sure why you’d want to swap them for wires. That car looked perfect.
