Just been told by the red numbers that there are thousands of unread posts in the forums I read. When I open them, there isn't one new post to be seen! Unusual.

Yes I get similar glitch occasionally. It seems to correct itself in time.

You need to click on your name, this will bring up a user menu. Second item from the bottom is "Cookies". Click on that and cancel your cookies.

This will resolve the problem.

You will need to log on again.

I have never tried it but you could probably go to the bottom of the page and use the "Mark all read" feature.
