Indeed. The story of his support for Douglas Adams' family following his death demonstrated what a lovely bloke Terry Jones must have been.

We have lost another comic genius RIP.

Here is the full python team in one of their final performances ironically bidding George Harrison farewell. He would have loved it just as Terry is here.

What story is that then?

When Douglas Adams died, he was living in California. In the days following his death, the family was gathering in preparation for the funeral.

Terry Jones flew over and checked anonymously into a local hotel. Every morning, quietly and without any fuss, he would go round to the house, make sure that everyone had something to eat, cleaned and tidied up, provided what support was needed, and then went back to his hotel so as not to intrude or overshadow.

That's lovely isn't it.
