Has anyone installed a pair of Cibie Oscars on their Mog (Fitted with Over Riders)? If so where did you get suitable mounting brackets as Librands only do them for their 5" & 6" spots.

I’ve got Oscars on mine using the Factory/Librands Wipac brackets but I don’t have overiders though. Work ok and no shake.
I can’t see that overiders would make a difference? 🤔

I am sure the brackets mentioned above would work. However, if you retain the overriders, there is not much space left for the Oscars between the headlamps, grill and overriders. I suggest you take a disc 7" wide (made out of cardbord, a dinner plate or whatever) hold it in the desired position of the Oscar and see what you think. Now Brands Hatch makes a badge bar that is wider so it almost touches the overriders, and Stafford Vehicle Components makes a nice bracket that fixes a spot to the bar. This might be a solution, and you don't have to drill the wing. Still, for my taste an Oscar is a bit too large for a Morgan, and moreso with retained overriders. For the moment I have discarded the spot idea, but if I take it up again I will investigate the Brands Hatch/Stafford path, most likely with 5 3/4" Lucas 576 or even something smaller. This is if looks is what you are after. If functionality - i.e. better lightning at all times is your priority, I would suggest changing the OE (Lucas or Wipac?) headlamp insert to Cibie 180 (Librands has them) with better optics, and/or putting in a H4 LED bulb. Tremendous light, but it might give you a MOT problem - don't know the UK regulations. If so, this of course could be overcome with a discrete back-and-forth change of bulbs in connection with the MOT....

Here is a thread on what I made for my car. These allowed me to fit the smaller Cibie Tango lights but work very well. I can forward a drawing of the template if you PM me.
