Today after 6 years & 34,500 miles I have had all 5 tyres replaced.
Formula One in Felxistowe did a great job including calling Morgan to check the car wheel nut torque setting (95 Nm). but I have the some of the glue from the old weights still on the rims.

Does anyone have experience of the best way to remove the old glue please? It seems pretty tenacious stuff.

I have got the worse off with a plastic scraper and then used a product called 'goo gone' which is a surface safe goo remover, although not to be used on silk, rubber, unsealed surfaces. Seems to shift most sticky stuff. I have also used '151 Sticker Remover' with similar results. Both respond to a google.

Scrape the excess off and then use neat petrol to remove the gunge.
