The recent "almost on time" launch of the Plus Four and their recovery of the problems of Geneva has been making me think.

One of the things that has impressed me most is the total change of step the factory has had in the last 5-10 years. This is the most impressive bit.
It has to be said the Aero was a bit of a problem step-child for many reasons. I still love it however.

Morgan has gone from continuous production of the same model for 10-20 years with marginal changes and improvements to a new model every year, new chassis, engines. Even the fabled special edition thingy is being worked well.
All of these bring more engagement with the press and new/existing customers.
I get the feeling that quality standards have improved as a lot of what we were all talking about some time back seems to have fallen of the topic list.

I am guessing that a lot of this was planned and executed prior to the new investment showing the focus they now have.

It would be very interesting to see the new investment companies opinion as from my perspective they have really got to grips with the new cadence and activity and it is very impressive.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Much of the change can be traced back to Steve Morris' appointment as MD.
He may have started as a metal basher in the tin shop, but he has shown himself to be a very capable manager with a clear understanding of his customers.
He will be a VERY hard act to follow, when he finally retires.

I suspect it was part of the M&A. Normally the buyer looks or future growth path even if the then company can't afford it.

But yes all praise to them for delivering.
