I cannot believe they were sitting on the exit of a fast bend and not expecting that to happen. Having said that the Marshall should have explained that to them (if they listen of course)

Just time to burn a little more petrol before dinner.

shocked2 Hopefully the "Parade Laps" will be a bit more restrained!

Although as I understand it, the instruction "Do not to overtake the Pace Car" will still allow for some fairly spirited driving drive

IMHO It's always a good idea not to let confidence and enthusiasm exceed talent... always drive within the limits will be my watchwords, especially if it is wet smile

Philip.

I remember going to the Welsh stages of the RAC rally in the early eighties and there were no crowd barriers or controls , so people were injured , they didn't seem to realise the dangers !

Watched a fair bit of this , very interesting interviews and also the cars racing round Lemans , cameras positioned on the cars at speed . Remember watching the film a very long time ago , it was quite long on driving and short on talking but that made it better. Having been there several times now its a special place and seeing those cars race .....
