.......or trying to stay within the MMC warranty conditions for vehicles purchased from new. I'm sure owners will agree such work is of no priority under these extreme circumstances but I wonder if MMC will be flexible

MMC and all other manufacturers would win a lot of brownie points by extending all vehicle warranties by 6 months at the moment. Perhaps a campaign on social media and forums to request such an extension would be a good move.

Agreed. I had already decided to delay servicing both VWs but that affects the rust warranty.

If you don't have to use your vehicle for essential purposes do your community a favour and stay at home. Just my humble (well not that humble) opinion.

Not only your humble opinion Peter but also The UK Government. We should limit going out in vehicles for essential shopping, medical or helping a vulnerable person. I suppose you could do that if a Morgan was your only car. But most of the general public would assume a Morgan is a weekend car and their waves be less cheery than usual. nono

Definitely the right course of action for MOT .
I don’t understand people going for fun drives at the present time. It smacks of an attitude of being above the rest of us and rules don’t apply. I have stopped driving 6 miles to a forest to walk the dog. Just go local instead.
Have you driven your Morgan today?
This thread should not have any posts for non ESSENTIAL journeys. By all means do an essential shopping trip in it but be prepared for possible backlash!

Well two trips this week in the Mog. One for the weeks shopping & one to my 90 tear old MIL.

Both essential but where I can I will go in the Mog. I only got smiles from the limited number of folk I passed.
