Using old bed slats and some old mohair I made a unique birdbox loosely based upon an RSPB design. You can see why DIY isn't my core skill set.
The style is "Rustic Bodge".

laugh2 Ain't that the truth!

The greenhouse trestle table, not so wobbly now. Your job looks much better though John.

Thanks worryingly even the Boss likes it. I try very hard with DIY to make it just bad enough that she limits demands for more jobs. Seems I failed this time.

I hate working with metal, it's either freezing cold or burning hot!!!

Just seen the photo John, looks ok to me, even better for the birds.
What's next? Dining Room table, wardrobes? hide

I'm on day 3 of giving the dog a haircut and he now has a definite saw tooth profile. He views me with deep suspicion.

No using an old sink to make a water feature in the wild part of the garden.

I had to fit a harness bar to this TVR Tuscan race car

Had to break out the MIG welder which always feels like a bodge...
I couldn’t make the welds look as bad as the ones that TVR did though....

A neighbours massive encroaching tree meant I had to nibble some clearance in my shed roof some years ago, tree now gone happy3 so the glorious sunshine urged me to start the repair

Much more fun than crunching numbers for work on the laptop, whilst entering the office is banned
