The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow will broadcast six of its most successful productions as a livestream via YouTube. Today, Friday, World Theatre Day, the series of broadcasts begins with "Swan Lake". This will be followed by "Sleeping Beauty", "The Tsar's Bride", "Marco Spada", "Boris Godunov" and "The Nutcracker" until April 10. The performances start at 7 pm Moscow time (5 pm German time) and are available for 24 hours. Intendant Vladimir Urin said: "Our country, like the rest of the world, is going through a very difficult time. We have never experienced such a situation and we do not want to lose the connection to our audience".
