Planes, trains, automobiles..... boats.....

....or just lawnmowers....

Not today, but I've spent a few hours on this during the last few days:

For anyone interested in things mechanical and farm machinery in particular I would recommend a visit to the Museo SAME
Viale Francesco Cassani 15
24047 Treviglio (BG)

They have tractors from the earliest SAME through their various acquisitions of H├╣rlimann, Lamborghini Trattori, DEUTZ-FAHR, to form SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, finally rebranded as SDF.

Obviously closed at the moment but one to put on the list for anyone thinking of visiting the area. It is south of Bergamo and about an hour's drive from us here on Lake Como.

Cutting grass seems to be the way to burn petrol today, just got the front of the house to do to finish the job, jeez it seems to get harder every year..!

That looks like an interesting museum Peter. There is one near Glasgow that I visited with the JockMog folks some years back... As ever, I have pics... (-: The museum is on a farm that had been owned by the same family for 400 years, the place being gifted to the national trust some years back.

Sun shining over here, but the wind is bitterly cold.

Yesterday, with my Harley-Davidson:

It was not allowed to eat in front of the takeaway, because of Corona. So I had to find a nice place on a field.

Peter. Thanks for the information. I was due to be in Como in late May en route with friends to Sicily and Malta. Our trip, 2 years to plan, is postponed but we will make the journey in 2021. I will add this to our itinerary for those interested.
