Irrespective of his politics or mine or yours I'd like to wish BoJo a speedy and successful recovery.

I hope he can get back to leading this country back to what passes for normal and we can return to arguing about much less important things like tax and Brexit and HS2

Get Well Soon.

Gary

There are some truly awful comments from the 'caring left' on social media wishing him dead. Disgusting, they repulse me.

Get well soon, Boris.

At worst he is mildly amusing and his zenith was chairing HIGNFY where they ate him alive but he could laugh at his inadequacy in that role so of course we wish Doris a full and speedy recovery.

It didn't really need to be said this kind of thing is tacit to most human beings isn't it ?

The only commentary I've seen from the "left" so far has been in wishing Boris Johnson well and hoping he makes a full and speedy recovery (see Jeremy Corbyn's statement). I agree wholeheartedly with that sentiment. Anybody wishing him ill or worse does not belong anywhere - let alone to the "left" of politics. There are nasty people splattered across the whole political spectrum.

Like you FT the only things from the Labour party on Doris's being unwell has been kind greetings, this tells me other people must be twattering etc to pick up the negative vibes as I've seen none.

Twattering and Instagram etc are up there with the so called reality TV I shall never succumb to those depths soapbox Oops sorry laugh2 to those that do.... grin2 well it's the "combovers" medium isn't it...

Well obviously high profile lefties are not going to wish him dead !!! Its the new breed of socialist corbynites. There is plenty there, if you look. Thankfully as its reported its being taken down or accounts are deleted.

Peace out.

Get well soon Boris

If for no other reason than he is the current captain of our collective ship, then I wish him well and I hope any left wing comments to the contrary are treated with the contempt they justly deserve.
Last nights HIGNFY was very strange but one of the comments made me laugh that was that Corbyn got what he wanted, the perfect Socialist country with a Police state and the Government paying every ones wages.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Even though I regard him as a bit of a buffoon, I wish him and his Partner a speedy and complete recovery from this awful affliction
