And it was wonderful. On the feeble excuse of picking up some seedlings that a friend had given me, I got the bike out ( proper one not a pedal thing) and rode it the 10 miles along the B road to her house and back. It was sunny. The tarmac was dry. There were very few cars about. In fact it was so pleasant that I came back at no more than 40 mph with the visor up just enjoying the feeling of freedom that a motorbike gives.

I shall now have to thrash myself with birch twigs and confess to Father Boris that I have sinned.

P.S. No viruses were harmed in the execution of this ride. I wore gloves and a face mask

At least I went shopping yesterday.
I really don't see the lockdown holding much longer.

I'm a regular sinner, making not entirely needed journeys out in one of the cars.

I was a good boy today, I went shopping at Waitrose, I posted photos on another thread.

But I shall sinn later when I take Tarka and Caroline out into the New Forest for a walk. Why?
I no longer accept that social distancing and lockdown is of any value in controlling COVID when outside in the middle of nowhere.
I now have very low expectations of the "relaxation" roadmap that BJ will reveal this evening.

I was going to (Morgan) sin, but following a phone call from a pal I need to take the 90 and jump leads up to get his disability (and presently disabled) motor started. smile

I was called out to fix some problems in a data center in Swindon, 139 miles round trip every day for four days. The first 30 miles on M4 to Reading is 50mph average speed then it's glorious open road for the next 30 odd. It feels to me what it would have been like when the M1 opened up for the first time. No traffic, occasional lorry and three lanes to choose from, that and £1 a litre at Morrisons. 😁😁😁

Have to go again this week hoping for more good weather...

Have been looking, as you do! Never had a V12 so far and its something I would like to own whilst I can still get in one.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this country is over populated.

Nevery owned a V12, then surely you have never owned a Ferrari ...or at least a real one πŸ˜†

I might need to own a 599 or a FF one day but an SLS is still the only one that excites me
more than the Aero.

What about a 612 Dean ? And then you'd also have that slightly cross-eyed look that us Aero owners enjoy... hide
