Has been mentioned on here in the past.
Tonight's channel 5 programme at 19:00 has just confirmed I really do have to pay a visit to the place.
First programme in a series of 5? Well worth watching if one has any interest in steam and early motor vehicles (and even gardens!).
A few Land Rovers also spotted in use smile

Watched it tonight & thought what a thoroughly nice place with a great spirit. Plus that lovely Norfolk accent..

Lovely.

Absolutely superb little place, recommend the 1940s weekend, such fun, period cars can enter free...oh and there is the dressing up in period costume too...here is a few pics the series 1 has visited a number of years now....

One of the most impressive static exhibits at Bressingham is the massive 2-10-0 Kriegslokomotive (War locomotive) "Pere Gynt" built during WW2 . It was rescued in 1972 from a sealed tunnel in Norway, after being placed there for storage in 1958. Brought over by the late Alan Bloom, its the same gauge as the UK but unable to operate on the network as bodywork overhangs too much for the platforms.

Graham, I was planning a FolkMog visit there after a hearty breakfast. Alas Covid won this year. It would be great if you came over. stayed with us & joined that when it is rescheduled.

Another annual interesting event there (as and when) is the "Steam in Miniature" weekend. Visited last year and drooled over this recent DCC engine build.

If only I could justify the cost juggle
