Hello.
I want to replace my air filter on my 4/4 4-Sizer, build 1981. There is no brand on the filter itself

He is high 60mm
Length 145 mm
the hole in the middle has 86mm.

I have already looked at Morganpart but didn’t not find this type of filters (see pictures). Can anyone of you tell me what brand it is and where I can get these types of filters?

Thanks in advance.
Bernd

This may not be right but look at This
They have over 500 cylinder air filters and this is the closest I could see.

Someone else may have a better idea, what engine is it?

Here' what I did on my 1980 4/4. Never seemed to have a problem because of removing the 'pre-heater'. It took ages to polish the aluminium casting on the top of the carb.

I don't recall the size or code number but it was a K&N and it was fitted for at least ten years before I sold it for.

Thank you for your response. What kind of engine is that exactly? I know it's a Ford 1600, but is it a Kent Cross Flow? Where can I see the engine number? What kind of carburetor? Twin?

Thanks
Bernd

My red 1980 4/4 was a Kent cross-flow. The carb was a Weber twin choke. Although you can't rely on a Morgan owner's handbook (in my experience anyway) the handbook for that car, which I still have, describes the carb as a "Weber Twin Choke downdraught 32/36. D6V-FA".

Hope this helps

More likely a 32/36 DGV FA?

Although the photo looks like it may be a DGAV as opposed to a manual choke DGV
