Following my saga trying to this to my 1994 plus 8 I can say with certainty that it is definitely not suitable for plus 8 fuel injected cars where the fuel pipe exits the tank low down on the drivers si of the car.

I believe it will fit most other cars with wide chassis though

Retail at over £200 I can sell this one for £160 posted. It has never been fitted and includes all nuts and bolts and fitting instructions.

Hi there, here's a question that shows my ignorance.

Having bought this item should I grease, or oil (or neither) the joints at either end of the rod? It seems to me that any form of lube will attract dirt but so does the underside of any car.confused
