A quick question - who makes the leather/sheepskin Morgan flying jackets?
I was reading a Mog article about some of them - and they looked quite similar to the Morgan ones but I can't seem to find a manfacturer listed on the Morgan shop.

Thanks.

Do try Brands Hatch Morgan. The Memsahib and I bought a couple about 10 years ago and they are great. The best thing about them is they have fewer belts and buckles with which to mark the seat leather. They were also significantly less expensive than Irwin jackets but possible not quite so swish.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

If you get tempted to get a proper RAF Irwin style jacket, make sure you specify ½" pile on the sheepskin, otherwise the jacket will be too stiff to allow for comfortable arm-twirling when steering. You also might find them a bit short in the back. When I had mine made (from the now sadly-defunct Cirrus) I had mine made to the B2 Bomber pattern to give a longer length.

Nick. Worth having a look online at the sheepskin shops in Street, Somerset?
I bought mine 15 years ago. It is superb quality and at a bargain price.

A short pile is a good idea. I hardly wear mine as unless it’s actually freezing it too hot to use.

I regret buying an expensive jacket - it would get far more use if it wasn't so warm.

I went for the Irvin jacket from MotoLita at Thruxton and have worn it quite a bit recently -its very nippy at the moment, however I did go for the lightweight as I was unsure if I could stand up under the weight of the standard one!
It has a nice long back which is what I required, finally wore my Morgan gloves during a long night drive -usually they are just far too hot.

I bought a suede Suixtil Bomber jacket 2 years ago! Very pleased with it, not to heavy, and you could wear it on other occasions! http://www.suixtil.nl/shop/jackets/sebring-bomber-jacket-detail
No connections owse, just a happy customer!👍😎

Being a cheapskate I bought a faux Irvine from from Lakeland Leather for around £100. Lighter than my pals genuine Irvine he thought I'd just bought a lightweight jacket, more flexible too. Had it about 10 years and its still as good as new. SWMBO has a very stylish one too but she rarely wears it as it too warm!
