I have a few friends who live in detached houses that are approx 300-500mm between the next detached! On many new developments you get more out side living space in a semi-detached residence.

I see few problems with this type of home. 1. Multi story- lots of leg work. 2. Small boxy living areas. 4. Kitchen on separate floor to lounge. 4. Shared driveways -a recipe for problems 5. Single garage- can you open car doors once in the garage.

It says it’s only one mile from Blackpool, I had no idea houses were so expensive there, quite telling that the last picture on the advert is a bottle of gin, that’s for when you realise how much you’ve spent!

Looks like a decent Covid19 bolthole. I wonder if the eventual residents give it a name?
Barnard Castle comes to mind. idea

Seems quite cheap to me. My Son has just sold his mid terrace Edwardian house in Wimbledon Park for £1.3 million with the added bonus of on street parking at additional cost!!!

Here for a good time not a long time!!

I was thinking along the same lines Reg.

This has the look of a place that would have an over active residents association, with allocated parking and a long list of do's and even longer dont's!

These will be second homes hence my pension plan investment mention, we'll see but I don't think there will be any lights on in the winter months consistent with a third of the village these days.

They'll never be there long enough to set up any kind of committee or get involved in village life is the way these places pan out they are takers not givers in general.

Yuk. Why is the front door hidden away?
We would I guess with stamp duty need to sell our 5 bedroom, double garage detached house 1 mile from the Orwell & 3 mies from the beach at Felixstowe and then find c £250k.
I would love to live in Devon but not at those prices which is why we ended up in Suffolk.

I remember that garage and bungalow from a few years back, my brother in law was looking to invest in property and we drove from Dittisham to check it out, but he didn't like it been on a busy road, I told him all the roads a busy around there.
Just because he worked and lived at gurrow point and didn't see any traffic all day, he didn't do any further enquiries into it.
But I wouldn't spent that sort of money on a semi either
