the geese that is. For 2 days now there have been skeins of geese flying south as I take the dog for his morning walk by the river. Autumn is on its way.

Always a depressing sight seeing the geese from our nearby lake flying south, not gone yet though

You just have some right softie geese down there! ..... here in the NE of Scotland the sign winter is coming is the geese flying in from up north to winter with us! .... won't be here til well into September .... not sure what your lads are up to, flying away already ??? ..... must want to keep their tans topped up ! smile

not saying the Geese are hard up here in Newcastle but most of them are still without feathers - they don't put them on 'till the snow starts ....... innocent
