I have had a hat blow forward onto my lap due to the airflow so use a clip/lanyard these days.

You can tie a deerstalker hat under your chin. Problem solved.

Yes Simon I have a sheepskin leather flat cap with ear flaps that have an under chin fastener for the winter very handy, I never wear a hat in the summer having a good thatch for protection.

Google it. Lots of choice in styles. If the advert is still in use, there is also proof that elephants can eat them and they will still be wearable (with a certain amount of suitable cleaning) a day or two later grin2

Did, errr, £70 for a hat that looks like it needs dangling corks to become complete isn’t for me.

But then I’m not a hat person as said above

I’ll stick with my wayward baseball cap I think - just need to buy another!

The top of his head looks very tall, to be able to keep that top ring on tight. He was supposedly a very bright lad, so it’s understandable: no wonder he wrote all those books

This is a picture of me driving my Morgan and my choice of headgear

To keep my hat on I just staple the felt to my head

(I might be lying a little bit)
