If they’ve lifted the stricken plate it will make the 1/4 closer.
I thought about spacing the hinge at the point it bolts to the hinge post but in the end I elongated the mounting point where the long front guild channel (which also secures the 1/4 glass) where it meets the horizontal arm rest stay support. This makes it possible to push the guide forward tilting the 1/4 back at its highest point
That might not make sense but I’ll get Nick to post a pic.

Cheers Viper. Would appreciate pics. They actually dropped the plate by shaving some material fro bolt holes which stopped the door being lifted so much and that gained 2mm but still not enough. Got a pic Kev, I’m lost?

Cheers Viper. Would appreciate pics. They actually dropped the plate by shaving some material fro bolt holes which stopped the door being lifted so much and that gained 2mm but still not enough. Actually I started looking at this area to get the 1/4 light to sit against the windscreen A pillar at the same angle. So I’ve spaced out that hole also to tilt the top of the 1/4 glass in too and also bringing the side window in closer to the hood.
