For any Morgan owners in the North West of England

There is a busy Classic car meet at The Corner House, Wrightington near Standish on New Year’s Day

I’m a regular if it’s not pouring down and there are usually another 3 or 4 Morgan owners in attendance

Get there early as it will be busy, from the forecast it looks like it will be cloudy but no rain

I usually get there about 8:45

Hi Stewart

I'm planning on getting down to The Corner House earlyish on NYD if possible but unfortunately not in the Mog as I'm having the wheels refurbed.

06 Sep, 09:00 – 12:00
Corner House, 9 Wood Ln, Wrightington, Wigan WN6 9SE, UK
Bring along your pride and joy and chat to fellow enthusiasts or just come for a look. Why not treat yourself to a bacon butty and a brew or if you want to go all out then have a full english in the pub. First Sunday of every month from 9am till 12.

Rumour has it that it was also held at the beginning of August.

Excellent turnout today, it was absolutely rammed with the obligatory Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches etc and four Morgans, although two had left before I arrived late. banghead

Many other classics ranging from the early 1900's to the present day along with a dozen bikes old and new.

And it remained dry. umbrella

Nice bacon butty too! thumbs

Myself & Saxonian were there before 8.30am. There was a heavy shower just after 9.00am for about 10 minutes but then it cleared up and I left about 9.45am for a shopping trip with swmbo but I still had time for a bacon butty and saw all the cars.

Hope to see you next month!
