I love the Dolomites, but have never managed to get back there in the Aero - must try harder!

Fantastic pictures Ale, I hope the driving was as good as your photos.

Superfun. Amazing the LSD and the engine torque. Boring the auto gearbox if not in sport/manual mode (worst thing of this car together with the leaking aircon if used extensively). I love all the noises that both the engine and the subframe do. It's a car that is "alive". Cannot really explain it better. Even the wife was surprised on the car reliability (day before leaving: "Cannot we go with the Porsche? Violet will get broken the first day") and the overall comfort. Luggage space is impressive. Around 800km on the highway and other 600 hairpin turns. Ah, 60.000km and still a lot of brake pads. Violet's weight it's really the key of its success.

That's so right, I enjoy driving mine with the roof on almost as much as off because of the different noises. It always surprises me how I am disappointed when a drive is over, no matter how long it has been.

Short run from Perth to Crieff then up through the Sma' Glen. Beautiful day with very little traffic to ruin the run!

A nice run in the New Forest this afternoon.
I looked at the odometer and thought that it hadn't increased much in the last 12 months, so I checked.
Based on MOT data I drive 4000 to 5000 miles a year in the Plus 8.
This year barely 2000.
All down to the summer lockdown and the cancellation of virtually all organised events. Log Mog has just cancelled a run because of the new "rule of 6", the Committee were worried that an organised run of 30 cars would be seen as illegal.
Over reaction? Perhaps, but with a £10k fine possible why risk it.

We can only hope next year is closer to normal, but I'm not convinced it will be.
