Albeit only a few but it might make someone happy Mini Moke production.

Good spot Rich, more info on their website: mokeinternational.com

A limited run of 56 only available in the UK, although curiously all the examples in the pictures are LHD?

I tend to agree with Derek Mathewson that the original Mini Moke is a fun car but overpriced. Given the market for second-hand Mokes £20K new looks a bargain

They look good fun Ian but probably more suited to warmer climes, I can imagine these finding their way onto Balearic hire fleets for the Brits at play.

The pricing does seem good compared to a sorted previous model which was a spot of rust on a good day.

I suppose the LHD is a sign of their real intended market as they talk of the States.

A friend of mine has a good original one which he uses at shows to promote his business and we seem to have a fondness for them, his is dark green with white weather gear and it looks smart.
He admits to feeling a bit twitchy when he is in transit on the M5 in it though, as I think I would be although looking at the new models roll bars it's probably safer than the Morgan grin2.

There is something very wrong with the proportions in the publicity pics, and as for the roll ? bars they change the whole look, they were once common here but most rusted away the last I saw was a couple of years ago $2000 NZ = 1000 GBP was what the asking price was.

As a classic Mini aficionado I'm ashamed to admit I don't really like the Moke, perhaps it's because it reminds me of the (cough) Prisoner series

I'd like another. Used to drive a white one, with blue pinstripes out in E. Africa for a short period. They were a fun car, even in monsoon season.
Fetch silly money here though.

I think they're really ugly. For the money you get an older but neat Morgan 4/4 with a bit of a search. Also as a four-seater, if desired.
