What really narks Dino owners is, not only that it didn't have a Ferrari badge but that the engines, the heart of any ferrari, were actually made by Fiat and have Fiat cast into many of the parts. Never the less, one of the most beautiful cars ever made IMHO. So delicate and feline.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

On the way back today from the Cotswold classic we saw a red Dino in Bicester.

I‘ m a „Mainzer“...a special kind of german.

Back a lot of years there was a partdealer. A special shop, two italian brothers. I was in MINIs, but my father was in Guilias.
And known. One day I need a new air cleaner. Visit the shop and ask about it. One of the owners ask me: you‘re in MINIs? No Alfa?

I answered: yes, MINIs. He looked at my MINI and told me: it‘s a grasscutter... cheap high quality air cleaner for 3 Deutsch Mark.

Some years later the guy was in a German classic car magazine... a well known Ferrari collector. His daughter runs a shop not far away from my home. A white Dino is always his own, but the other Italians are gone.
