Yes we are fortunate as you are in living in a scenic unspoilt area. I wish we had some of your mountains though.

It's interesting how much sailing activity is still going on this year very late into the season, I think probably as a result of covid and it's nice to see it, we get a view of Start Bay from our house and there is quite a bit of activity out there as well as on the river.

MALVERN ARMS !!!!!!

its been going on in my mind for a couple of weeks

I stopped drinking years ago before I was old enough but never found anything I liked , the odd glass of 1/2 shandy , yet always the thought of the police in my mind with the blow into this SIR .

A week ago a pub I know a few mile away we have used . I was chatting to the owner and he told me of HEINEKEN
non alcoholic beer on the bar . I still felt a bit iffy! after tasting it I could not tell it from the real thing . Then thought the police may stop me !BLOW INTO THIS SIR . ITS TOOK A FEW TO TELL ME ITS OK TO DRIVE

TRY IT AND YES I WAS STILL IFFY TO THE POINT OF ONLY HAVING A 1/2

Adnams do a 0.5% alcohol versions of their Ghost Ship pale ale and also of their Wild Wave Cider. Not completely alcohol free (as is the case with many equivalent products) but both very palatable. I've been quite surprised by how well they sell.

The low or non-alcholic beers / lagers seem OK now (well you know what I mean!) but has anyone found a half decent low or non-alcoholic wine? They just don't seem to exist as yet.

The German low alcohol Weiss beers really are OK for me. I haven't found a low alcohol wine that is good.
