Are the inner rings the same as the mini ones too? Both mine are pretty rusty and an upgrade would be good.

Minispares used to offer chrome rims for those who insist on originality , and stainless for those who are happy with a longer lasting product at a cheaper price , but do not suffer from OCD!

Anyone had a problem with the headlight rims on a new Plus Four?
What's the problem Phil ? Coming loose, the Mog whistle  , or rusting already

Had a test drive of the new Plus 4 at the factory last week. It had a very loud whistle above 38 mph which we thought may have been from the headlamp surrounds. Sounded just like the kettle had boiled. At lower speeds I could hear the interference from my mobile phone coming out of the speakers, I assume it had an inbuilt amplifier.. However, they were small points compared to the competence of the ride and abundance of grunt from the engine.

Mike that car needs neoprene inside the headlight rims. Was it the auto you tested?

No it was the manual, had a look in a number of Plus 4 demo's and, from memory, they all seemed to be manual boxes. If ever I thought to buy one would certainly consider the auto as I find a good responsive paddle shift very useful, and a few weeks of regular, and lengthy, driving in the Plus 8 tends to cause issues with my left leg.
