We are very fortunate here in New Zealand that the whole country has cooperated well and that we now stand at Covid 19 Pandemic level 1.
This means freedom for all, with only the country's border subject to restriction (ie only New Zealanders returning from overseas are able to enter and who are then subject to controlled quarantine)
My wife and I have been able to get out in the Morgan regularly with friends and with improving Winter weather, top down outings are likely to increase further.
This latest video shows an outing with friends (1966 Mercury Cougar) and us (1962 Morgan Plus 4). And then an outing with our 'Wednesday Wander' monthly group, to a place of interest and lunch.
Retirement is great.

Excellent, thanks for posting it bought back memories of our holiday in Jan & Feb.
One question why only once a month on a Wed?

Oh & well done on COVID. You don't want to be in the mess we are in.

Excellent video with the sound highlighting the tractor like qualities of the engine.

Loved it. That TR motor looks so right in a Mog and the sounds were music to the ears. During our visit in 2019 we only saw one Morgan in Auckland, in connaught green. The roads are great and so uncrowded compared to here.

Drove 2/3rds of the North and all of the South, 3500 miles back in Jan/Feb 2019 in an old Toyota. Fantastic memories. Didn't see a Morgan, but did see an advert for a one owner 1995 Porsche993 with 70k miles for NZD45k. Sold of course by the time i made the call.

We saw two Mogs. One in the north and one in the south on our trip this year.
The roads are great especially the South Island.

Hi Rob (and others).

The badge you are referring to is just a Coventry, London AA badge from way back. I had it on a 'Morris 1000 2 door' back in the early 60's and kept it aside as I thought someone with an Aston Martin might like it one day, with its (James Bond like) number 8A36 007.

John, the 'Wednesday Wander' monthly outing fits in nicely with Morgan Club events, Austin Healey Club events, as well as other interest group activities. A nice balance, with still time to go out motoring with Denise or even on my own.

Regards,
Brian
