Lazy post before I research ...but it was picked up on my =4 Supersport that the drivers door is beginning to droop a bit..

This is because I use it a lot !!!..ha ha

So best solution..replace both hinges or get hinge pin replaced .

Any thoughts people ?

I think Phil Royle had his pins replaced and it was a bugger of a job.

I could of course enter from the passenger side while I still can !!!!

Hearts of England sell over sized pins. Also check all the nuts & bolts are tight

I did the pins on my 4/4 and it wasn't so difficult with oversized pins.

Are you sure it's not just that the hinge screws to the frame need nipping up.

Especially the top hinge.

BTW "Equals 4 Supersport"?? Also lazy somestick

Did the hinge screws on mine a couple of weeks back, made a surprising difference

On mine the hinge screws were tight and the pins were good also.

Taking the door skin off revealed that the nuts were a little lose. Tightened and the door drop has gone.

Hi Kev,
I did not replace the pins but some of the captive nuts had made a bid for freedom and on others the screws 1/4" Whitworths!! were a bit stuck. It was easy to get to the ones behind the door but the ones on the bulkhead side were a bit of a so&so and needed arms of an octopus and flexibility of a contortionist. Sadly I`m not a contortionist so that`s why I`ve always had difficulty in making ends meet!

They didn't have any when I contacted them a few months ago. And they didn't expect to be the highest priority things to produce when they opened up again. May have changed of course. If you find any let me know as I'm after a set!

Thanks for your input,,,all screws tight and play is in pin..so will live with it till Mr Worrell comes up with new stock.

Not a major issue.
