I went for the Magnecor - can't remember where I got them from, but again, fitted fine, straight out the box. Possibly Burton? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/05/09/96_Tyyj1AYgtumDLigl5zUKtNuuv9XZ51-K8dP9qfXMGHJsx5OPHyprjUwgnQXBq3bXY3vnpawHf83gCWPcpEy_B_TsS5a-9cL7vbPKgXahVZ8A43T_yPgc__jxp4a4MdztuNn1UIuui77c6L6l8pgvsD5SQazE319tdrNe_52LwQSt9Nor8qHC7BqHXw2eXc6HkZcFR.md.jpg) Looks very neat with those spacers Thank you - cheap generic ally ones from eBay.

I don't think you'd notice on a road car unless the existing leads were old and deteriorating. I know you like red bits on your car however Craig and red leads would look good with your engine plaques

What is the normal distributor fitting for the leads of the 1600 crossflow. Inline or 90*? Mine are inline.

I don’t think the leads will give a noticeable ( if any) performance hike. They should help get a good consistent spark though, helping get a decent burn. Years ago I had an XR3i and it developed a bad misfire from about 2000rpm. New leads cured it. Standard leads not Magnecor. Two weeks ago I checked my plugs and leads on the Plus8 as an annual job. MOT looming! The leads at least 8 years old.
