LED bulbs would the safest solution in that case, and you can ignore the CAN bus concerns of some applications.

High Robbie, yes ,thanks for the reply. I have a set of billet ally lights that i bought to replace the cheap plastic front indicators. These lights are fitted with typical lamps for this function.
I was just unsure if replacing led lamps with incandescent lamps would cause a problem, thats why i want change them for led`s. If these lamps have the BA15s holders you refer to, LED's with the same fitting are available and recommended. Classic Car LED's will supply anything you need.

If you by this mean direction indicators, you can change to LED, but beware of the hyperflash issue. If you mean side markers with a stable, non-flash light, LED should work fine.

Robbie the M3W has LED indicators as OE as you have already acknowledged, so replacing like for like won't be an issue.

Yes, we agree on that, but it seems that TS has taken away the OE ones and replaced them with somethinghe nicer. Being a little blond, I have not understood what is wanted taken out and what is wanted put in, depending of his new light..... Anyway, LED and incandescent bulbs are interchangeable so he can do what he wants without worries, as long he avoids the direction indicator LED hyperflash issue and does not put a coloured LED behind a tinted glass. Cheers, gentlemen!

I have standard bulbs used in parallel with the oem led lamps. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/10/01/IMG_0395.jpg) Standard incandescent bulbs for a year without problem.
