At 15 grand, why wouldn't you buy an actual Morgan ?

OK, at that price it would need some work, but at least it would be the real thing.

I can see the point of a replica where the real thing would be impossibly expensive (Suffolk SS100 for example), but don't see the point of this.

On a plus side, when the ignorants ask if it’s a kit car at least the owner can say yes!😉

Both vehicles look plainly wrong for me, but to a none Morgan owner they could look very appealing. For me l’m not at all keen on the wide bodied Morgan’s, I think they miss a vital styling genius.

The red GCS Hawke, was registered in 2005. A glass fibre kit on a Ford Serria (apparently).

The white 4-seater (1990 Dorian) sold recently on Car & Classic for £4k carandclassic.co.uk/car/C912802

1980 Royal Ivory 4/4 4-seater.

Interesting that the current advertiser says he's had it for 5 years, when it was quite clearly down in Cornwall two years ago, Caveat Emptor....

I feel the same way. But a new Plus 6 looks just as wrong in my eyes.

But according to the ebay ad, the Hawk does apparently have an interior trimmed by Aston Martin, and Twin Dellorto Italian Webbers (sic)
