That's why I love drag racing - you get to see the entire race from the comfort of your seat. Couple that with cars with over 10 times the power of a F1, and open access pits where you can get within inches of the cars and drivers as they're being worked on. Proper 'no frills' motorsport I thought I would fact check your "10 times the power of an F1 engine" claim. To my amazement I see that Top Fuel Dragsters can develop 11,000 horsepower. Sorry I doubted you but I have to go to Santa Pod next year to experience that. If you do go remember to take good quality ear defenders

Often a good field of top fuellers and funny cars (similar power but in enclosed bodywork) Not sure how it compares to F1, but an advance day ticket this year was £28, and an additional £7 gets you a grandstand seat. Thats about 8 hours of racing..

Drag racing is also great if you have a 10 second attention span and like going home reeking of nitromethane......

Should be perfect for a revival given the Twatter generated attention span and recreational drug habits of the modern yuff. Should be due a comeback on that basis?

Okay my view on LH (outside of his car control) is all held in this article sad to say. If anyone wants me to take this down I respect that and will. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...rive-seal-seventh-Formula-One-title.html"And Hamilton, who was a guest editor for BBC Radio 4's Today Programme on Boxing Day, said he wants schools to shift their curriculums to teach more black history." I always thought they taught British History. "He said: 'Growing up in the UK, you learn about white history, simple as. I never learnt about black history, I never learnt about where my family were from." Well you could always have asked your father or read your own twitter feed. Better still his birth mother is from ......... His step mother was from. When discussing his family background is no importance given to that half? "'We are caught in a trap because our history cannot be told without confronting two things that we in this country do not like to talk about. One is slavery and one is the violence of empire.' " Maybe but it's not because we are proud of things that were done in those times, by different rules and views. I never intend to disrespect some/many aspects of the things he highlights. "Hamilton was also quizzed by presenter Nick Robinson about racism in his sport and the fact that he is the only black Formula One driver. " Is there a woman F1 driver. Is there an Inuit F1 driver. Is there a Chinese F1 driver. I respect those who stand for there beliefs but let's have some balance.

It's another example of a selective agenda.
He should look at slavery across all civilisations. Does he know who makes his fashion label items I wonder? Instead of looking back he might get more respect by addressing current slavery in sweatshops to serve the designer gear market.
Take a leaf out of Marcus Rashfords book maybe.
