My dad showed me wet flatting of paint with polishing back to gloss. Gets rid of orange peel type effects. I did a small job on my previous Morgan by wet flatting/polishing after pushing out a small dent. Took a while but satisfying. I was also shown brush painting, flatting, polishing, similar to the old Rolls Royce method. A workmate of his was good at pin-striping. An art to behold!

I also tried using a roller with Rustoleum. Successful to a degree and much more user friendly (no airborne spray). Took longer to harden between coats as it was white spirit based. I've seen some quite good paint jobs using this method online.

Google the filter range it will specify what A1 Charcoal filter is required . The prefilter is the users choice
