Hello everyone. I am a new member and I write from near the Madrid airport, Spain.

When I was a child I had a Scalextric, a track based slot car racing system, one of the cars was a Morgan Aero 8 GT "Martin" in green. It was the one I liked the most and my wish was that one day I could have a real Morgan.

My wife knew it and for our 40th anniversary she got one of the 80 Morgan 4/4 80th that were going to be made, mine in particular is number 4 of 80. All 4 .

I am sure that this forum will provide very interesting knowledge about the Morgans. Many thanks to all the participants for their contributions in this forum.

Despite the fact that due to my profession I usually spend many days outside of Madrid, now with the pandemic not so many, if someone comes to Madrid please tell me.

Hi Javier - welcome to talk Morgan. Enjoy the 4/4 I have a 4/4 sport and it is a great car - you will not regret it.
For other TMers could I suggest that if Curborough is not on for 2021 we hold the curry and chips club meeting in Madrid?
Don`t worry Javier - I am only winding up other TMers who are going stir crazy with lockdown.
I went shopping with the Morgan to the local Coop today - about a mile away - it is a new shop and it was my first visit there. Would you believe it I got lost on the way there and clocked up about five miles before I could find a spot to turn off the road to make my way back.

I only had to to wait 4 weeks to make my Morgan dream come true

I visited a Morgan garage to have a look at a pre owned Panther Kallista - 4 weeks later I found my 4/4!

I too have only recently fulfilled a very long-held ambition to own a Morgan and I love it.

Think I'll have to go shopping in it soon, probably on Thursday when the weather is due to be nice! This lockdown is making it harder to enjoy our toys!
