This days my MOG has had her second birthday.

For a real celebration the speedo shows 20.200KM. When I look back we travel 9000 KM from March on.

But what happens in such a year. I‘m lucky to visit Britain in a very fast roadtrip with a friend for a service at BHM.
And have a look around in my loved country.

And what‘s about her? She‘s great. A wonderful tourer for all kinds of journeys. Key in - turn- start. Some DIYs are done,
but the bespoke (last year) brakereactionsbars or the tooltray are waiting. This winter? May be. In this special times she is the tool to get out. My wife loves her more and more and learn to enjoy the great view out.

Is there a point of worries? not real. There is a little movement in the frontsuspension, I must have a look at it.

So in summary: great thing, great expierence, allways good.

Tomorrow she get her wash and than she can (must) sleep until March.

It’s great to see you are using your Morgan. Too many are polished more than driven.

Mine’s much older than yours and we’ve covered over 40,000 miles in it. My wife always wants to be out in it wherever we are going even though we have four other cars including a modern Mercedes. This lockdown has been an opportunity to change all the front running gear - timing and auxy belts with all jockey wheels and tensioners plus alternator and water pump. With that lot off I could tidy up a bit of rust on the cross head too. It’s always interesting to work on. We use it through the winter but only when there’s no salt about.
It’s never let us down and as you say, key in turn start drive.
Great fun and hobby too.

;-) My wife and me visit the factory about 30years ago and leaving with the words: let‘s fill the pockets, we buy such a car.

It took some time, and we visit the factory three or four times in the years. In 2018 the plan or idea would turn real. We visit BHM with the idea to buy a MORGAN there. But a first: is it a car in our taste? So we hired a MOG and do 800 miles in three days.

When back we discuss our ideas with Sarah and Keith and sign an order.

After some weeks of waiting we collect it at BHM at November 16th and travel to LandEnd and straight back for her first service.

A great event.
