I feel for you Clipper
The older I get the less tolerant I am of things not working, it drives me mad
And without coffee in a morning!
Get yourself a stainless steel stove top (don’t like the aluminium ones) and a Zassenhaus hand grinder to put you on until it’s fixed I used this method for years. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/11/24/MokaPot.jpg)

Kettle and instant (although have forked out on Azera Intenso).......

Managed to get the frikkin thing to work this morning. Knew I shouldn’t have gone for the Morgan version - there are two grease nipples by the infuser where after every 100 cups.... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/11/25/0BE384D8-8DC5-4FFF-B802-E32ED83AF181.jpg)

A friend's parents in Spain had one of the machines (with the eagle) above - a highly polished thing that looked like Jules Verne time machine. Lovely object.
I bought a Jura coffee machine a while back - beans in one end, perfect coffee out of the other. Not cheap, but a nice luxury to have.

Neil,
I really wish you had not posted that information! When I work out how much I spend on Nespresso capsules I am not sure your machine is expensive...try a 3 year DCF! I'll stick with the Nespresso machine until it dies, but it will be replaced by a Jura.... !!

Used to feel guilty about binning all the plastic pods being a hypocrite V8 owning recycling obsessive. They do sell compostable pods but apparently it’s greenwashing nonsense because they have to go to an industrial rather than domestic composter (seven or so in the UK).
Although Stewart’s RTS is a good solution.
I am smugly putting waste ground coffee in my plant pots and borders now - hope it doesn’t kill them!
Anyway, because Morgan’s don’t usually get scrapped, that’s got to be tick box in the sustainable environmental excuse comforter.

Coffee grounds are a great medium for growing mushrooms.
