Heinz , nice to see a clean dry road and a clean Mog as around here there is rather a lot of mud due to sugar beet harvesting and maize harvesting , trucks fetching crop and tractors churning up soil !

Steve, agreed that does look good. I have just finished cleaning Belle from Saturdays trip to Cain's, ahead of our meet up on Wed. I expect the car will be filthy by the time we get to the pub for lunch. (with apologies to those on here in Wales).

Apologies my understanding is though you can buy take away beer and food? In Wales I think they can't even do that.

Agree re Wales - but these don’t come into force until Friday.

And yes - we will have takeaway options when Tier 3 starts. Not seen anything from our village pub on this yet.

Takeaway food in Wales:

"Pubs, bars and restaurants will only be allowed to remain open until 6pm from Friday, and operate as takeaways afterwards." (Daily Wail)

Alcohol will be available in supermarkets.

What a beautiful day. Wall to wall blue sky.

Supplies of beers were very low, so had a run out to the West Berkshire Brewery. I went the pretty way, of course.

Trip from Poole up to Tolpuddle for a walk and flask of coffee on a beautiful sunny morning.
