I rember what happens 35 years ago!
Until I was 30 years old, I only owned several solo motorbikes (road and motocross) at the same time but no car.
Even then, motorbikes with sidecars were extremely rare to see and therefore very fascinating for an enthusiastic motorcyclist like me!
One day, an acquaintance of a work colleague told me that he had been able to buy a cheap BMW R90. The bike had only one disadvantage, it had a sidecar mounted and since it was from England, the sidecar would be on the left.
He would remove the sidecar immediately, as he had bought everything because of the BMW.
I got all nervous and 20 minutes later I was driving through the snow with the bike and its owner - it was the end of December!
After 30 minutes, the owner didn't want to ride anymore. He said: Let me get off and go on alone. That's what I did for 2 hours!
A short time later I bought a MZ with a sidecar - my third bike at the same time.
