No licence, no insurance ,No MOT .No age restriction .Simples. Not true, all the same rules apply unless it's an authorised hirer when they insure plus you need a P cat on your licence I believe. Currently vehicle of choice for Essex drug dealers.

These are very popular in Auckland, initially with the pick up and rent to ride, but now increasingly privately owned -however pricing for the popular models that more than match their performance figures are just on 25% of the UK price for that AC one.

I missed this post, however the most worrying part is that it was all filmed in Norwich. It's bad enough dodging the buses but now we may have these bloody things knocking us down.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

Don't forget the silent electric cars rolling along trying the same thing. I would love it if the cars had an option smartphone like ring tone you could choose. It would be a giggle hearing the different styles. Electric SUV's making big butch noises, Electric limo's making smooth swishy noises etc.
I cannot believe that a name like AC Cars is flogging chinese electric skateboards, oh how the mighty have fallen.
Just time to burn a little more petrol before dinner.

It isn't being sold under the name of AC (directly anyway), it isn't a skateboard and they claim it is manufactured in the UK

Good point about the famous three wheelers. Adaptable workforce! I cannot believe that a name like AC Cars is flogging chinese electric skateboards, oh how the mighty have fallen.
It isn't being sold under the name of AC (directly anyway), it isn't a skateboard and they claim it is manufactured in the UK My apologies if it came over too cynically Brian. I am going to blame being locked up at home for too long and having visited the old Brooklands home of AC many years ago a personal love of the old company. My comments are always meant partly in jest and if they do not come across that way I end up in trouble. (and also actually being a cynical ______) In my defence I felt that the AC name was pretty clear? This has AC quite clearly adjacent to the name. Autokraft also being a name associated with the brand as well with the Mk IV. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/01/14/AC_1.jpg) This also brings them into the frame front and centre. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/01/14/AC_2.jpg) This leaves a bit of latitude around there being some asian input, not that that is a game changers as let face it a) they make some good stuff b) it is where a lot of the battery and other elements will always come from. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/01/14/AC_3.jpg) So I hope my jump to comment was at least a little justified? I see it as a skate board because to my mind if I tried to travel on it it would be as deadly as all those other small flat planks with wheels. Also it's not a horse, boat or Morgan so I tend to gather all of those small deadly things in the same club in my mind?
