Hi.i need help please.Does anyone know if there is a second fuse box
On a 2007 Duratec 1800 4/4.
I was fitting Peter's new wiper blades. But unfortunately
When I started them .one wiper jammed After getting
Clearance on the wipers. I found the wiper and washer
System is dead.Ive checked the fuse box under the bonnet
All the fuses seem ok.Is there a relay or online fuse to look for.
Thanks Ray.

On my 07 +4 there was also a fuse box under the dash, passenger side I think.
Cheers

According to wiring diagrams in the 2006 to 2014 parts book there is a 20 way fuse box. Fuse 8, 10 amp is shown for Wipers on all variants. Suggest pulling that one out and checking for continuity with a multimeter.

Hi Ray,

Yes, you’ve found it. Might help to use a mirror and a fuse puller or small pair of long nose pliers.

Watch your back!

Try the plug under the bonnet passenger side near the bulkhead, a constant problem.

Ray, my fusebox is in a similar place. Being a supple athlete helps get at it! NOT!
My blade fuses have contacts For testing in situ with my multimeter so a bit easier. They are standard blade fuses not mini size. I have a few spare and a good mixed pack of the smaller mini blades you can have if needed.

I wouldn't rely on testing for blown fuses in situ. Random paths in connected circuitry could distort reading.

Fuses can develop hairline cracks which test OK, but under load will heat up and break the circuit.
