I don't know why, probably because I can't use my car right now, but I have been obsessed with the cam upgrade. Can anybody speak to this? Does anybody have first-hand experience and what can we expect if we get to cam upgrade done? Also do you have a hackable ECU or not? My car is older so it has the Euro 3 spec I am just wondering whether this is something I should consider while the parts may still be available.

From the North American point of view the cam upgrade is wonderful. I added roller rockers at the same time just because I had to remove the rockers anyway so why not remove the studs and grind away the clearance for the pushrods. With standard rockers it might not be necessary and would make the job easier.
I had a locked ECU and it worked just fine for 6 months and then I started getting check engine light so I read the ecu with ProTune and it said “maximum limits reached” or something close to that. Still ran great and started fine.because of that I purchased an UNLOCKED ECU from G56 that is tuned for the cams. That will be a project in a couple of weeks.
I had the AR Stage 1 intake and exhaust already. Is Oke with S&S Tech dept and they indicated the engine was designed with the larger cams and had to have the smaller one installed to meet European Pollution Spec. The 569 really make the engine purr.

Agree with what has been said so far.
Started with Morgan Aero Racing Stage One.
Added Garage 56 Stage 2 cams and unlocked ECU remapped by Garage 56 for the new cams. Better torque at lower rpms. Engine runs better at lower rpm but for other reasons good to keep the rpm up. More hp and torque at higher rpm. The reason I added the new cams was to make the engine run better which it does, not so much because I wanted more power. Interesting to hear the engine was designed with the Stage 2 cams. Makes sense the engine runs better with them. This summer I removed the Aero Racing Stage One exhausts and replaced them with the stock exhausts with the front baffles drilled out. In the Spring I intend to do an open road remap of my ECU to maximize performance to my set up.
Good luck.

Hi Stephen,
The Garage 56 ECU was mapped by Garage 56 for the upgraded cams but they were also using their Stage 1 exhaust system. Before purchase I specifically asked if their Stage 2 ECU map would work with the Morgan Aero Racing exhaust system and they assured me it would. Because I’ve changed the exhaust back to stock with drilled out front baffles I want to tweak the unlocked ECU to my set up.
I have created a connection port in the cockpit of my M3W wired to the ECU. I will have our local motorcycle shop V Twin tech riding with me with his lap top connected to the ECU fine tune the map as we put the M3W through its paces driving on the open road. They already told me this could be done. Much better than a shop tune because the engine will be under load with passengers.

Cams are money well spent. I had the factory stage 1 and added the cams. I would go ahead and knock out the roller rockers at the same time while it is apart. I did it later and it was dumb on my part. I also bought the garage 56 ecu. Nice thing is the ecu learns and you can easily merge the maps to get it to run pretty smooth. It would be great if you can find a tuner to sit in your passenger seat but good luck with that. Few use the protune software so I found it nearly impossible to get help.
The Morgan pulls really hard throughout the range with the cams
