I am having a bag made with M3W embroidery on each end. A bit like the one on Carerham Sevens. It holds with Velcro to roll bar. It will take about three weeks. Roll up tonneau and fit in umbrella maybe a couple of other things . I’m needing to plan for Isle of Man trip in August
M3W, Range Rover Vogue SDV8, Merc SL, Austin Healey Frogeye and Honda Monkey Z90..

I might be a little concerned following Donaldosaurus! A friend of mine touring Spain on a bike arrived at his hotel to find that his luggage was no longer on the bike! Not sure velcro is the best choice. The heavy duty version is rated to hold 1lb per square inch up to 10 lbs. So I wonder what force would be applied to it with the wind whizzing by? Also, with time, velcro loses it’s grip due to dirt building up. At least one secure buckle type or hook type strap would be far safer for other road users and for your peace of mind, not to mention your bank balance in the event of a claim.

Big thing when touring is easy access to the fuel filler - having to unpack/repack the rack in a busy fuel station is no fun so easy on/off is a good thing - how do I know this?? I just lift the rack off completely with luggage, to fill up.

................... Love marmotas set up just would worry about leather in the rain. ` We bought a backpack rain cover in Decathlon. A nice quality one with elastic, straps and fully waterproof. And amazingly it looks like made on purpose for the size of our bags! It doesn’t take much space and it’s easy and fast to put over the two bags and secure with the straps. This one to be more precise https://www.decathlon.es/es/p/funda...3501?mc=8514546&c=AZUL_AZUL+TURQUESAAnd it's just 15 €!

I just lift the rack off completely with luggage, to fill up. Your rack must fit a whole lot better than ours. No amount of adjusting seems to get it to fit well and don't feel inclined to attack the roll hoops further...
