In the Ingolstadt region you find a couple of IN-RI numbers - on a Lancia Thesis I have seen the IN-RI 888.

I still own (now on retention) V2 NUT.
I bought it from the DVLA in 2000, initially to fit on a Guzzi V11. It then graced a number of Ducatis that I owned. It was much admired and often photographed at various bike events.

Seen a 7.5 truck on the A36 with the registration XS 5 The truck is run by a local business "In Excess", they are slowly collecting the XS number plates for company vehicles.
The US Embassy has a number of USA XX plates, USA was issued by Aberdeen and the ambassadors car used to be USA 1, but security concerns mean that these plates have not been seen for a few years. When UPS started in the UK they had a raft of UPS XXX plates for their vans, but their growth put a stop to that level of vanity.
