Does anyone happen to know how thick the wooden floor be on a '92 plus4. I want to fit an organ pedal.

I suppose you could always drill a small hole through the floor and then use the drill bit as a depth gauge. If the hole was say 2mm in diameter the underside could easily be sealed with under seal. Just a thought.

Thanks. How is the organ pedal normally secured to the floor. I could use straight through nut and bolts with penny washers on underside. Just wondered if there was
an " accepted way".

Are you sure you want to fit an organ pedal? You will be introducing one more mechanical piece, with it's own movement - the little roller sliding up and down underneath the pedal as you press/loosen the pedal. I have no personal experience, but I suspect it might feel a little less direct, and some someone here on TM mentioned that he has removed it due to stiction in the sliding movement. Looks good, though. Why not check out the pedal made by Cain Poulton at Wolf Performance? He makes a complete set of adjustable pedals, but you can also get the accelerator pedal separately. Would have been my choice. Or will be, most likely. I think the OEM roller pedal works, but the surface is a little small, and feels uncomfortable through the sole of my shoe after a long drive.

I have had cars with both & frankly found no difference.

I thought the main reason for fitting an organ pedal was to facilitate heel and tow braking. Is this wrong.

Of course toe not tow.
