England beat themselves yesterday, their discipline was, yet again, shocking.

Some of Itoje's you can accept as the risk you take when playing on the edge but jumping across lineouts and running across chasers is just dumb.

We'd got past all of the rubbish with earlier decisions and it was a 24 all game, we then gave the game way,

I was much more frustrated with the players than the ref.

Many matches have had controversial incidents. What goes round comes round.
Josh Adams’ try was a ref error. He shouldn’t have given Biggar the time is back on response as he had told Farrell to speak to his team. Biggar speculatively asked the ref who seemed switched off to the situation.
Hardy’s try was England’s defence sleeping.
The “knock on “ try was a try. No knock on. The ball went down to and back off LRZ’s leg and hit an English player’s knee. The several replays showed it. In real time I thought it was a knock on.
It was England’s indiscipline that cost them. Giving penalties away that took the pressure off Wales instead of grinding out opportunities. At the top level these days you have cameras, TMO, and get caught out easily.
The ref seemed to have an odd eagerness in many decisions affecting both sides. Itoje could easily have had a yellow card as he was living on the edge. On the day he got caught out. He was very strict on the breakdown infringement of not rolling away with both sides getting caught out.
One area in rugby that needs looking at is wheeled scrums. As an ex front row forward/back row a wheel was a legitimate tactic. You used it either as a destructive move or to take the opposing back row out of the game, hence as a back rower you would detach from it . It now seems an automatic penalty for the team receiving the put in. So easy to get a penalty, territory gain, points, defuse the opponents purple patch.
Eddie Jones must be fuming but he did make a comment pre match about the refereeing being a factor! There are 4 refs to rub up the wrong way these days.

Apparently, using Covid rules, Cardiff Police have fined the England Rugby Team for making a pointless trip to Wales.....

What a cracking game and well done France, the first half belonged to Wales for sure even though the scores were even but once France lost a man they played their hearts out and deserved the win.
The Welsh ill discipline in the second half with penalties and going two men down in the final minutes did them no favours.

England just muddled away at another match with very little discipline , I think Eddie has to go and quickly.

It was a cruel end to the game where a questionable final penalty given to France changed the game in the dying seconds, but what a superb match irrespective of the outcome.
England have lost the plot. It’s Eddie’s way or no way which really needs to be changed now.

Great finish to the tournament (with the outstanding game to be played)....a real cliff hanger and reminiscent of former French teams when at the height of their prowess always had a very exciting closing 10 minutes. The other notable game was last week the England: France game, when the English for a change decided to turn up........

Great game to watch. Wales had a good first half that set up a contest in the second. Wales discipline ebbed though. I can understand yellow cards in the red zone as penalties become more frequent. The downfall was when Wales gave away the penalty when they should have been simply running the clock down. France did exceptionally well to score from it. A Grand Slam lost by Wales to a very good team.
So, can Scotland decide who will be the champions?

Some great and in form English players not even selected!
England appeared to have only one plan and once the Irish had worked that out, the result was inevitable.
Eddie Jones has to be replaced.

I actually felt sorry for Wales but that 2nd French try was sheer poetry.
Well done to France for never giving up!
