A heads up that a new series of Bangers & Cash starts tonight at 8.00pm

BANGERS & CASH
New. A 1970 Excalibur Roadstar, once owned by Roy Orbison, arrives at Thornton le Dale and Derek heads to County Durham to collect a 1935 Austin 7 Ulster that's been completely rebuilt.

I watched last night, as there's not much else on at that time. Interesting cars and stuff, but find that 'Dad' Mathewson is about as charismatic as a dead sheep. Probably enjoy it more with the sound off.

Quite enjoyed that.
There are other programmes which definitely need the sound turned off - the subtitiles facility can be useful then! grin2

Plenty of accommodation nearby. They have a showroom in Pickering now not far away.
Accommodation will be hard to find on Auction weekends when we are allowed to attend.

I enjoyed watching last night's episodes, I've seen a lot of the previous episodes as well. Don't find "Dad" annoying but I wouldn't want to work for him, comes across as a bit opinionated and awkward. " There's dad's way and then there's dad's way"

I thought it was quite entertaining and the prices lower than I expected, the funny woman behind the desk was a nice character too.
Thanks for the heads up Ian thumbs
